PROJECT LIST
Grant Elementary School: library, historic garden, replace 6 portables with permanent classrooms, and a early learning building modernization; design is complete and has been submitted to Division of the State Architect in California (DSA).
Roosevelt Elementary School: new library and early learning building, and replace 1 portable and 2 modular buildings with permanent ones; design is underway, pre-construction services are underway, and construction anticipated to begin in summer 2025.

Franklin Elementary School: new early learning building, field, and parking lot, design is underway and construction is anticipated to begin in summer 2026.
John Muir/Santa Monica Alternative School House (Muir/SMASH): innovation lab, admin bldg, replace 4 portables wtih permanent classrooms, and modernized parking; design has been submitted to DSA for permitting, and construction anticipated to begin in December 2024.​​

John Adams Middle School: new STEM Building; design is underway, pre-construction services are underway and construction anticipated to begin in summer 2025.
Lincoln Middle School: eighth grade STEM Building modernization; design is complete and has been submitted to DSA for permitting; pre-construction services are underway and construction anticipated to begin in summer 2025.​
Santa Monica High School: new student services / student center building; replacement of 4 portables; programming and predesign is underway and design to commence in fall; construction anticipated to begin in summer 2026.
Districtwide Projects: 15 portable classrooms and two modular buildings will be replaced; safety and security upgrades will be made at various sites, technology improvements, including fiber upgrades and outdoor wireless expansion will be made; other potential campus projects include McKinley‘s new elevator and cafeteria/kitchen modernization, Will Rogers’ Learning Community’s innovation lab modernization, Edison Language Academy’s drop off and pick up improvements; construction anticipated to begin construction in 2027 or later.
